My current mixed media work explores the fragile nature of memory, & how it is embedded in quiet corners & empty places.
I am in the early stages of exploration with paint and how I want to develop it. After a career in the greeting card industry, I did an Art Foundation and a Fine Art degree as a mature student. I enjoy printmaking and ceramic sculpture, as well as painting. I live close by in Exton, and am currently interested in making paintings about places where I frequently walk, which I initially capture by taking photographs and videos. Back in my studio, these references become quick sketches and collages that will go on to generate ideas for new paintings.
