I paint mainly in acrylics, particularly landscapes where my home county Rutland provides plenty of subject material. I work from photos, but always my own. The image freezes the moment in time and allows me to rekindle the excitement of it each time I paint. I find inspiration in natural scenes, old buildings, trees, sky & water – especially the sea. Sometimes all 5 at once!
