I wonder.., what happens if…, I want to draw that…
The shape of that tree..; the way of those hills..; mountains against sky..; houses nestled… Textures. Colours.
I particularly love trees against houses, high up on hills or down in valleys. Patterns of fields & forests.
I draw, I paint in oils, watercolours, mixed media & collage. I am a printmaker – mostly mono prints & collagraphs. A sculptor. A potter – mostly slab made plates, bowls & boxes. When I am working in 2-D I want to make it look 3-D, and with 3-D I want to paint on it.
