The Autumn 23 exhibition proved to be another successful reflection of the many talents within the Welland Valley Arts Society. We enjoyed the private view and comments from visitors to the exhibition suggest that they too enjoyed the show.
As always, none of this success would be possible without all the volunteers – so Sue would like to thank everyone from the form creators, printers and envelope stuffers, to the hard workers on hanging day – the selectors, por- ters, providers of ladders, plinth arrangers and artwork hangers, the photographers, the labellers, the number- ers, the cake makers, the collators, catalogue printers and online creators, the publicity writers, leaflet dis- tributors and, of course, all the exhibiting artists! (She hopes she hasn’t missed anyone).
If you didn’t put anything forward to exhibit this time, there’s always the Spring and we hope to see you then. If you’d like to help, do let Sue know. It really is a lovely way to meet other WVAS members and see what goes on behind the scenes.
